If you suspect high levels of radon or if you haven’t had the radon levels tested in awhile, it is a good idea to schedule a radon test with Rolo Homes. In the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas, high levels of radon are common. And unless you regularly have the test performed, you won’t be able to detect high levels on your own – radon is odorless but high levels can cause serious side effects.
  16. Clean and Inspect Appliances: Clean dryer vents and exhausts. Check the refrigerator coils and clean if necessary.

Disclaimer: As general home inspectors, we recommend these maintenance items based on the condition we often see homes after they have not been maintained. This is not meant to be a comprehensive list, rather, a starting point for homeowners that want to take care of their Hudson Valley property. Rolo Homes recommends consulting a professional for any maintenance you feel is needed, but you are not able to safely care for on your own.
